In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Onekama Portagers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Benzie Central Huskies.
The Portagers (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, St. Mary went down by Glen Lake (Maple City, MI), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Huskies now sport a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine River Area for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Benzie Central will face a Bucks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI). The Bucks record now stands at 3-3.
