Illinois High School Volleyball - Sullivan over Blue Ridge

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Sullivan Redskins (Sullivan, IL) and the host Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), observed Sullivan's volleyball team top Blue Ridge by a count of 2-0.

The Redskins (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL). The enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg was knocked off by North Oldham (Goshen, KY), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh Titans (Oakland, IL) in a contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Blue Ridge will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Titans go into the battle with a 1-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Marshall (Marshall, IL).
