Kentucky High School Volleyball - Boone County overwhelmed by Highlands

Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) followers went home satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad triumph over the host Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY), 3-0 in a non-league game.

Next up, the Bluebirds face the Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 12. Highlands will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Defenders go into the game with a 4-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Tates Creek (Lexington, KY).

With the loss, Boone County drops to 9-8 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Dayton (Dayton, KY) to play the Greendevils in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Greendevils come into the outing with a record of 8-5. Dayton won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY)
