Spectators at Thursday's league challenge between the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) and the visiting Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA), witnessed Jefferson's volleyball team overcome Cherokee Bluff by a tally of 2-0.

The Dragons (18-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Longhorns come into the non-league challenge with a 13-10 record. In their last challenge, Lanier was beaten by Gainesville (Gainesville, GA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the Reagan Raiders (Pfafftown, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to advance on its 18-7 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 14-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
