The Pine River Area Bucks volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Clare Pioneers to 1 in the Bucks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bucks now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Big Rapids for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. Pine River Area will play a Cardinals team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Reed City (Reed City, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-8.
The Pioneers (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Valley Lutheran (Saginaw, MI). The Chargers go into the non-league game with a 10-2 record.
