The Commodore Perry Panthers volleyball squad (Hadley, PA), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Oil City Oilers (Oil City, PA)

With the win, Oil City improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Oilers travel to Grove City (Grove City, PA) to encounter the Eagles in a District 10 Region 3 battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 3-4. Grove City won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA)

Next, the Panthers battle the West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Commodore Perry will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record.
