In Thursday's non-league match, the Covington Chargers (Covington, TN) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Shelby County Cougars (Memphis, TN), by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Covington improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to Millington Central (Millington, TN) to encounter the Trojans in a AA District 15 battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 9-10.

The now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakeland Preparatory for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 25.
