The Bulldogs (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry (Perry, IA). The Bluejays come into the non-league challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Perry was nudged by Greene County (Jefferson, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Scarlets face the Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 11. Des Moines East will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Bluejays go into the test with a 0-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Greene County (Jefferson, IA).
