With the win, Mt. Zion advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA) to face the Spartans in a 3A Area 5 test on Tuesday, September 16. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 8-10. Greater Atlanta Christian won 2-0 in their recent league test against Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA)

The Astros now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverdale for a 3A Area 5 outing on Tuesday, September 16.
