Fans at Thursday's league contest between the El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) and the visiting Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL), observed El Paso-Gridley's volleyball team hold off Ridgeview by a count of 2-1.

The Titans (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Olympia got by MacArthur (Decatur, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Woodland Warriors (Streator, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 15. Ridgeview will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 3-10 record after their 2-0 league loss to St. Bede (Peru, IL).
