The Ellsworth Eagles prevailed the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME) in a Class C game, on Saturday, September 13. Ellsworth will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Lakers enter the game with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Greely (Cumberland Center, ME).

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Machias (Machias, ME). The Bulldogs enter the game with a 1-2 record.
