The Warren Easton Fighting Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats to 0 in the Fighting Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Fighting Eagles now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covenant Christian Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 16. Warren Easton will confront a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA). The Lions record now stands at 3-3.
The Bobcats (2-4) will now prepare for their game against East Jefferson (Metairie, LA). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, East Jefferson defeated New Orleans Charter Science & Math (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
