Wabasso Rabbits (Wabasso, MN) followers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds (Winthrop, MN), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Rabbits (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Redwood Valley (Redwood Falls, MN). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Redwood Valley beat Luverne (Luverne, MN), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Thunderbirds play the Cedar Mountain Cougars (Morgan, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN).
