In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] Eagles.
The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 0-9 record.
Next, the Eagles play the Cavalier Tornadoes (Cavalier, ND) in a B - Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
