The Highlands Latin Highlanders volleyball team (Louisville, KY), was beaten 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Waggener Wildcats (Louisville, KY)

The Wildcats (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY). The Valkyries come into the District 27 challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, Sacred Heart was beaten by Assumption (Louisville, KY), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders meet the Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Highlands Latin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Henry Clay (Lexington, KY).
