California High School Volleyball - Poway can't get by La Jolla

La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Poway Titans (Poway, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Pacific Ridge (Carlsbad, CA). The Firebirds come into the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Pacific Ridge edged Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Titans play the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 13. Poway will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Pointers go into the game with a 8-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Christian (El Cajon, CA).
