Illinois High School Volleyball - Loyola Academy tips St. Laurence

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) and the host St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL), observed Loyola Academy's volleyball team hold off St. Laurence by a count of 2-1.

The Ramblers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 6-6 record.

The Vikings now own a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Homewood-Flossmoor for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. St. Laurence will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 7-7.
