In Thursday's league match, the Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA) volleyball squad overcame the host Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Chieftains battle the Beverly Panthers (Beverly, MA) in a Northeast contest, on Monday, September 15. Masconomet Regional will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Swampscott (Swampscott, MA).

The Big Blue now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beverly for a Northeast battle on Friday, September 12. Swampscott will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Danvers (Danvers, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
