The Menahga Braves volleyball squad (Menahga, MN), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league contest with the host Pillager Huskies (Pillager, MN)
The Huskies (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Moose Lake/Willow River was edged by Barnum (Barnum, MN), 3-1, in a league test.
The Braves now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walker-Hackensack-Akeley for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Menahga will face a Wolves squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Blackduck (Blackduck, MN). The Wolves record now stands at 2-2.
