The Niskayuna Silver Warriors knocked off the host Schenectady Patriots volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Silver Warriors now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Guilderland for a Section 2 Suburban - Grey bout on Tuesday, September 16.

With the loss, Schenectady drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY) to clash with the Eagles in a Section 2 Suburban - Grey bout on Tuesday, September 16. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Bethlehem Central won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Averill Park (Averill Park, NY)

The Patriots fell short to Niskayuna during their first home match of the season. Leading the Patriots in kills and service points was Sela Tatum with Jasiya Brothers leading team in assists and Anika Rodney in digs.
On Nisky's side Kaitlin Neugebauer and Ciarra Gonzalez each picked up 7 kills and Kiley Augstein-Collins getting 11 assists. Senior Captain Julia Mason also helped Nisky to their victory with her 22 digs, 7 aces and 3 assists.
