Illinois High School Volleyball - Southwestern over North Mac

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Southwestern Piasa Birds volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the North Mac Panthers.

The Piasa Birds (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Jersey (Jerseyville, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Jersey beat North Greene (White Hall, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Hillsboro Hiltoppers (Hillsboro, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. North Mac will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Hiltoppers go into the test with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Highland (Highland, IL).
