In Thursday's non-league match, the Philip Scotties (Philip, SD) volleyball squad overcame the host Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Scotties battle the Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 13. Philip will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Winner (Winner, SD).
