In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Redlands Terriers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Xavier Prep Saints.
The Terriers (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Sultana (Hesperia, CA). The Sultans go into the non-league test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Sultana achieved victory over Serrano (Phelan, CA), 3-2, in a league test.
The Saints now own a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rancho Mirage for a Desert Empire test on Tuesday, September 16. Xavier Prep will face a Rattlers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Desert Hot Springs (Desert Hot Springs, CA). The Rattlers record now stands at 5-6.

Redlands swept Xavier Prep 25-19, 25-21, 25-20 to improve to 9-3. Jaydee Zook powered the Terriers with 13 kills and 3 digs, while Charlee Willis and Kameryn Carpenter each added 8 kills. Setter Natallia Caravia dished 20 assists and picked up 10 digs. Jocelyn McNairy was perfect on the attack (4-0-6, .667) and added a solo block. Libero Ava Reyes anchored the defense with 17 digs, while Carpenter chipped in 13. The Terriers hit .293 as a team and tallied 3 team blocks in the win.
