Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the St. George's Dragons (Spokane, WA) and the visiting Rogers Pirates (Spokane, WA), observed St. George's's volleyball team top Rogers by a count of 3-1.
The Dragons (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Colville (Colville, WA). The Crimson Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Colville was knocked off by Omak (Omak, WA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Pirates battle the East Valley Knights (Spokane, WA) in a 2A Greater Spokane battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Rogers will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA).
