In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Woodland Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the South Cobb Eagles.
The Wildcats (8-21) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedartown (Cedartown, GA). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Area 7 test with a 7-22 record. In their last test, Cedartown went down by Unity Christian (Rome, GA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McEachern for a 6A Area 3 test on Tuesday, September 16. South Cobb will face a Indians squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Indians record now stands at 5-17.
