The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Aztec lost by Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Chieftains encounter the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 19. Shiprock will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Scorpions come into the battle with a 6-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM).
