In Monday's league battle, the host DeKalb Barons soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Huntington North Vikings.
The Barons (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Leo (Leo, IN). The Lions go into the Northeast Hoosier battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Leo nipped Bellmont (Decatur, IN), 4-2, in a league battle.
The Vikings (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN). The Cadets go into the non-league battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran nipped Fort Wayne Wayne (Fort Wayne, IN), 5-0, in a league battle.
