The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) and the visiting South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA), saw Pope's volleyball squad beat South Cobb by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Pope upgrades its record to 16-8 on the year. The Greyhounds host Buford (Buford, GA) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 15. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Buford lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA)

The Eagles now own a 0-1 record.
