Alameda Pirates (Lakewood, CO) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Arvada Bulldogs (Arvada, CO), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates confront the Gateway Olympians (Aurora, CO) in a 5A/4A Colorado challenge, on Tuesday, September 20. Alameda will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.

The Bulldogs now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Middle Park for a 3A/2A Frontier challenge on Wednesday, September 21.
