The Thornwood Thunderbirds volleyball squad (South Holland, IL), was outscored 2-0 in Monday's non-league bout with the visiting Bolingbrook Raiders (Bolingbrook, IL)

With the win, Bolingbrook upgrades its record to 15-3 on the year. The Raiders travel to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL) to play the Warriors in a SouthWest Suburban bout on Thursday, September 15. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Lincoln-Way West lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Joliet West (Joliet, IL)

The Thunderbirds now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bloom for a Southland bout on Tuesday, September 13. Thornwood will play a Blazing Trojan squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Southland College Prep (Matteson, IL). The Blazing Trojan record now stands at 7-5.
