In Monday's non-league contest, the McBain Ramblers (McBain, MI) volleyball squad nudged the host Cadillac Vikings (Cadillac, MI), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Ramblers face the Evart Wildcats (Evart, MI) in a Highland contest, on Tuesday, September 13. McBain will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record.

With the loss, Cadillac moves to 10-4 on the year. The Vikings host Fremont (Fremont, MI) to face the Packers in a non-league contest on Monday, September 12. The Packers go into the contest with a record of 10-10. Fremont won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Big Rapids (Big Rapids, MI)
