The Lexington Minutemen volleyball team (Lexington, IL), was edged 2-1 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Cornerstone Christian Cyclones (Bloomington, IL)

The Cyclones (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Blue Ridge nudged Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Minutemen encounter the Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs (Mackinaw, IL) in a Heart of Illinois challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Lexington will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Williamsville (Williamsville, IL).
