The Cumberland Clippers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Mt. Hope Huskies to 0 in the Clippers league victory on Monday.

The Clippers now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln for a Division 2 game on Thursday, September 15. Cumberland will meet a Lions team coming off a 3-1 league win over Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.

The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Exeter-West Greenwich (West Greenwich, RI). The Scarlet Knights enter the Division 2 game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Exeter-West Greenwich gained a win over Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 3-0, in a league game.
