In Monday's league battle, the visiting DeLaSalle Islanders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Fridley Tigers.
The Islanders (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN). The Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record.
With the loss, Fridley drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights, MN) to clash with the Hylanders in a Tri-Metro match on Thursday, September 15. The Hylanders come into the match with a record of 0-2. Columbia Heights lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Richfield (Richfield, MN)
