The Hanover Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Freeman Mavericks to 1 in the Hawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Hawks now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Armstrong for a Capital game on Tuesday, September 13. Hanover will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
The Mavericks (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Panthers enter the Colonial game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Hermitage gained a win over Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
