The Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs held off the visiting Magoffin County Hornets volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs now have a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perry County Central for a District 54 test on Tuesday, September 13. Hazard will confront a Commodores team coming off a 3-1 league win over Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY). The Commodores record now stands at 9-11.

The Hornets (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Lawrence County (Louisa, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 5-5 record.
