The Highlands Bluebirds topped the host Holmes Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.

The Bluebirds now have a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walton-Verona for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 14. Highlands will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Scott (Covington, KY). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-12.

The Bulldogs (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Thoroughbreds enter the non-league test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Newport Central Catholic gained a win over Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY), 3-0, in a non-league test.
