The Hornets (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Grundy (Grundy, VA). The Golden Wave enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Grundy defeated Richlands (Richlands, VA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rebels meet the Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Hurley will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, VA).
