Ohio High School Volleyball - Western tips Manchester

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Western Indians (Latham, OH) and the host Manchester Greyhounds (Manchester, OH), saw Western's volleyball squad nip Manchester by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Western upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Indians host East (Sciotoville, OH) to play the Tartans in a Southern Ohio I bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Tartans go into the bout with a record of 0-3. East lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Notre Dame (Portsmouth, OH)

The Greyhounds now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lynchburg-Clay for a Southern Hills bout on Tuesday, September 13. Manchester will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Fayetteville-Perry (Fayetteville, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-6.
