The Marymount Sailors volleyball team (Los Angeles, CA), was edged 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge with the visiting Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA)

The Sea Hawks (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Vikings come into the Bay challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Santa Monica was edged by Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sailors encounter the Notre Dame Academy Regal Gryphons (Los Angeles, CA) in a Mission challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Marymount will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Regal Gryphons come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ontario Christian (Ontario, CA).
