The Kirtland Central Broncos volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Grants Pirates to 0 in the Broncos non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Broncos now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wingate for a non-league game on Thursday, September 14. Kirtland Central will meet a Bears team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Bears record now stands at 1-1.
The Pirates (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Bernalillo dropped by Moriarty (Moriarty, NM), 2-1, in a non-league game.
