Blanchester Wildcats (Blanchester, OH) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats face the Georgetown G-Men (Georgetown, OH) in a Southern Buckeye - National challenge, on Saturday, September 16. Blanchester will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record.
The Hurricane now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goshen for a Southern Buckeye - American challenge on Thursday, September 14. Wilmington will face a Warriors team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Seven Hills (Cincinnati, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 0-6.
