Washington High School Soccer - Peninsula knocks off Yelm

Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA), 7-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Seahawks face the North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) in a 3A South Sound challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Peninsula will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-2 league River Ridge (Lacey, WA).
The Tornados now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capital for a 3A South Sound challenge on Thursday, September 14. Yelm will face a Cougars team coming off a 4-3 league win over Timberline (Lacey, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-2.
