Somers Tuskers (Lincolndale, NY) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Rye Garnets (Rye, NY), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tuskers face the Lakeland Hornets (Shrub Oak, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Somers will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY).

The Garnets now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albertus Magnus for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 26.
