The Abingdon Falcons football team scored 7 points and held the visiting Richlands Blue Tornado to 6 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against John Battle (Bristol, VA). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, John Battle was tipped by Gate City (Gate City, VA), 14-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Tornado now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Graham for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 2.
