The Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) football edged the visiting Taos Tigers (Taos, NM), 29-24 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Sundevils face the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 19. Espanola Valley will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their bout against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM). The Elks/Elkettes enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Pojoaque Valley was nudged by Belen (Belen, NM), 36-24, in a non-league bout.
