The Midgets now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia for a Cahokia (Mississippi Division) test on Thursday, September 14. Freeburg will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Gibault Catholic (Waterloo, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Father McGivney Catholic drops to 3-6 on the season. The Griffins travel to Metro-East Lutheran (Edwardsville, IL) to meet the Knights in a Gateway Metro test on Wednesday, September 13. The Knights come into the test with a record of 2-5. Metro-East Lutheran won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL)
