In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Salem Quakers soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Minerva Lions.
The Quakers (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Carrollton (Carrollton, OH). The Warriors come into the Northeastern Buckeye battle with a 3-6 record.
The Lions (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Sandy Valley was overwhelmed by Tuscarawas Valley (Zoarville, OH), 9-1, in a non-league battle.
