Coming up next, the Pintos encounter the Southern Boone Eagles (Ashland, MO) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 14. California will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Boonville (Boonville, MO).

The Bulldogs (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Linn (Linn, MO). The Wildcats come into the Class 2 District 9 test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Linn overcame Laquey (Laquey, MO), 23-1, in a non-league test.
