The Stone Mountain Pirates softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Clarkston Angoras to 12 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Stone Mountain moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Pirates host Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA) to clash with the Red Devils in a 4A Region 6 game on Wednesday, September 13. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 0-3. Druid Hills lost 1-0 in their recent league game against Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA)

In their next game, the Angoras clash with the South Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, September 13. Clarkston will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 6-7 record after their 17-0 league win over Washington (Atlanta, GA).
